Social Media

The social media landscape has changed and I have bravely taken risks and innovated to keep up with the day-to-day movement in the field.
At Michigan Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence, I worked with a team to create sharable content for Instagram. We cemented our brand into our account and used Canva to create content that was timely and on mission. During my time there, the social media goals were met and increased time and time again.
Previously, at S.A.F.E. Place, I worked to capitalize on the power of Facebook. With an enthusiasm that no one else had, I used Facebook Live to create engaging content and educate people on our mission and vision, and amplify our call to action. Although the footage was very raw, the campaign was effective for our community and many donors and volunteers responded to the calls to action. I also restructured our outdated Domestic Violence Awareness Month walk to a virtual walk and online story-telling event.

About our Three-Day Volunteer Training
In the Celebrity Server film, I recruited a professional film editor to volunteer his time to edit footage that I directed and shot. We premiered it at our annual gala, Celebrity Server, to ramp up excitement for the important work that S.A.F.E. Place does.
I pushed the limits, bringing attention to the organization's work and starting a concept that the organization would continue to build on and improve.
